These challenges were not easy to overcome, but they revealed our integrity and commitment to quality and sustainability, as well as our determination to innovate and create a new way of producing CBD products incorporating all the active ingredients contained in hemp flower (cannabinoids, terpenes and flavonoids). Our resilience has enabled us to persevere, push the boundaries of what's possible and challenge the norms of the hemp flower and other medicinal plant industries. The story of our product development has been a transformative human experience rich in invaluable lessons.
Never take the easy way out
Taking the easy way out would have meant taking shortcuts, sacrificing quality and neglecting ethical and sustainable practices. By taking the easy way out, we would have risked diluting the integrity of our products and undermining the trust of our customers. This was simply not an option for Oihana.
Sown, cultivated, harvested, dried, sorted and bagged in the French Basque Country, our hemp is the object of all our attention. All stages are carried out by hand, in an artisanal way, with respect for tradition and nature.
Our CBD products contain all the active ingredients of the hemp flower (cannabinoids, terpenes and flavonoids) and are ethical, 100% natural, with no added flavor. For the plant blends, we've developed beautiful formulations and textures with unique characteristics, very similar to tobacco without the harmfulness. This is an exclusive Oihana innovation.
